Buffalo Silent Water Heaters

  • The Buffalo Silent Water Heater is an open suction submerged type ejector used for heating water where steam is used as a source of heating or for processing.
  • The improved design of this Heater allows for the more rapid circulation of water without noise or vibration and without the loss of heat through the condensation of steam. Because of its one-piece construction, there are no parts to become loose and so is practically maintenance free.
  • The unit can be supplied in either bronze or stainless steel construction in sizes from 3/8″ to 3″ as detailed below.

Installation

The steam supply pipe must be at least as large at the Heater connection. The Heater must be fitted as low down in the water as possible and connected to the steam-pipe as shown in illustration to avoid wasting steam. Use a pipe at the discharge end about 10″ – 12″ long pointing to the most remote part of the tank to permit thorough mixing before the water is returned for circulation.
